Weymouth Concert Brass take part in the Weymouth Music Festival

It was an opportunity to Perform the test piece Music "An English Pastorale" before going to the West of England Brass Band Contest at Torquay. The Adjudicator Malcolm Pearce congratulated the band on a fine performance, and gave comments and advise that might help us improve further for the contest

Weymouth Concert Brass Promoted to the 3rd section.

Weymouth Concert Brass top the grading table for the 4th section. They were the most consistent Band over the last 3 years, and are now promoted to the 3rd section

The result was a little disappointing for Weymouth Concert Brass who were hoping to build on the 1st place in the South West of England contest and our 6th position in last year's Championships, but the band's day out at the championships is always an enjoyable get together, meeting and hearing other bands.
