Weymouth Concert Brass have now moved into their new practise venue at the Wyke Community Hall. The band is thrilled with the hall and all its amenities

An enjoyable and interesting afternoon playing at the Portland  b-side Festival in the middle of the road for the parade. A good time had by all.

The band is very gatefull and many thanks to the Church for allowing us to use this venue. The band is now going to practise at the Willowbed Hall Chickerell

At the moment there is a Lockdown imposed so there will be no practising in  groups until the Lockdown ends  

 During this time the Band has produced 3 video Everybody needs some Body,  Beyond the Sea, The Great Escape,  and have entered them in the contest              

Results for the Kapitol Cory Online Championship Third Section

The Third Section will commence at 13:00, and we are being broadcast 10th of 11 bands. The advice from the organisers is that each band will be broadcast at around 15 minute intervals. (10 minutes playing, preceded by an introduction, and followed by some first impressions from the judges. In addition, there are some adverts you have to wait through every few bands.) So, in reality, we won’t be broadcast until around 16:30. But it could easily be earlier or later than this. Our Judges are Siôn Rhys-Jones, Steve Jones & Helen Williams. There is a Results Ceremony for all Sections on SUNDAY 28th March at around 20:45.
