The Band had a wonderful day in Torquay even though the weather was damp and cloudy. We came 8th in the Fourth Section. We hoped for a better result but we were pleased with our performance and gave it our all! There were some lovely individual performances, and we had two members of the band on stage who were new to contesting. Well done Saltash Town, Brunel Brass Academy and St Stythians on the top three places.
Photos of the Band waiting for the results and keeping dry

It is with sadness that Weymouth Concert Brass announce that Helen Brind has stepped down from the post of Deputy Musical Director. After much consideration and due to other work commitments Helen has decided that it is time for her to relinquish her role. Both Helen and the Band hope to continue our association. The Band would like to take this opportunity to formally thank Helen for her hard work and commitment both as Musical Director and Deputy Musical Director. Her lovely nature and ability to get the best out of players will be very much missed. Thank you, Helen.
